Mexicandy is a Family Dream that Bloomed in Riverhead During the Pandemic

Amid the uncertainty and challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the owners decided to turn their love of Mexican traditions into a business. This is how "Mexicandy" was born, a small artisanal ice cream and popsicle store in the heart of Riverhead.

Inspired by the flavors of their childhood in Mexico, they began experimenting in their kitchen with fresh fruits, sweets and authentic sauces. Offering traditional flavors such as tamarind, mango with chili and horchata, as well as innovations. Each palette is a work of art, made with natural ingredients and a lot of passion for Mexican traditions.

The Riverhead community, hungry for new flavors and cultural experiences during lockdown, enthusiastically welcomed the opening of the fur shop. The authenticity and quality of the palettes did not go unnoticed. Social networks were flooded with photos and recommendations, and soon, the store that began as a small family business saw its clientele grow exponentially.
